Lakshmi Arch Brass Diya

A deep, heart-shaped oil bowl on a beaded dome base, backed by a pierced arch. Lakshmi sits at the centre of the arch, flanked by guardian figures, and the scrollwork around them throws a lace of shadow when the wick is lit.

For the puja room, for Diwali, or for a doorway on a festival night.

• Material: cast brass
• Use: ghee or oil with a cotton wick
• Care: wipe out oil after use; polish with tamarind or lemon
